Spitfire Cup<\/strong><\/p>\n 50th Anniversary Plate<\/strong><\/p>\n Results of the Competitions played on July 2nd 2019 at Dorset Golf & Country Club:<\/p>\n Spitfire Cup <\/strong>(Afternoon 18)<\/p>\n Winner:\u00a0 Steve Elliott \u00a0 37 points<\/strong> \u00a0<\/strong>50th Anniversary Plate \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>(all day, 27 hole event)<\/p>\n Winner:\u00a0 Matt Kockott \u00a053 points<\/strong> (off 8 handicap….very impressive) Longest Drive 11th : \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Dan Pain <\/p>\n Notes: Well the first two statements were accurate.<\/p>\n Just kidding. I think everyone played some very good golf….and unfortunately a few bad shots too.<\/p>\n But who can get upset in such a gorgeous place. The course was in excellent condition. Generous greens and lovely sculpted surfaces, ideal for testing your reading abilities.<\/p>\n The club hosted us very well and looked after us all day.
