There was an amazing turn out with 19 players starting (and finishing).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The club made us very welcome and the course proved to be challenging for most, although some thrived !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The winners on the day were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Spring Cup<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1st Steve Elliott (41 points)<\/li><li>2nd John Ferris (36 points)<\/li><li>3rd Paul Brent (34 points)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rabbits shield <\/strong>was won by Simon Nash<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Longest Drive<\/strong> &#8211; Phil Blake<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nearest the pin in two<\/strong> &#8211; Adrian Crossley<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many thanks to Dave Imeson for arranging the afternoon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A great start to the season with a sunny, if a little chilly and windy, afternoon at Wellow.
