The course was beautifully presented and whilst its maturity made it challenging at times, it was thoroughly enjoyable to play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many thanks to Chris Swales for organising; the tea, coffee and bacon rolls were a lovely way to begin I thought.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well done everyone for a solid pace of play, no mean achievement given the heat and the countless (I assume) \u2018behind-a-big-darn-tree-back-into-play\u2019 shots that had to be played (technical term).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Event feedback was almost exclusively strong, reflected by Newbury &amp; Crookham being pushed to the top of the Event Leaderboard. (O<em>n which note, Adrian has updated the\u00a0<\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ihgs.uk\/?page_id=3547\"><em>website<\/em><\/a><em>\u00a0with leaderboards linked from the results page<\/em>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, congratulations to Chris Swales and our competition winners.
