Our penultimate event, event 10 on our calendar, saw HGS make our annual trip to Tidworth.  Being a regular event, members would not have been surprised to hear the regular, yet never familiar, sound of gunshots ringing thru the air and military air-power flying overhead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flying in the face of this regularity, we found ourselves teeing it up on a Tuesday, with rain in the air and soft green grass on the fairways. Strange times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day was warm and pleasant, punctuated with occasional yet regular bursts of rain, which, whilst heavy, were brief enough to affect neither the playing conditions nor players spirits.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A healthy turn out, with 14 members and 4 guests joining us for the day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Congratulations to all our winners. The event was won on countback again, with 1st<\/sup> and 2nd<\/sup> having to be split on the final 6, having tied over 18 and 9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once again, our Champion Golfer leader kept his tally ticking over, the fat lady is on stage and hitting the high notes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
