Mid April at South Winchester and a few dry days finally saw a bit of bounce and run on the fairways. There was enough breeze to help on some holes and hinder on others which combined with fast greens to present a tough challenge to the society which was reflected in the scoring.
The spot prizes were won by Mark Jones (nearest the pin) and Mark Bliss (longest drive)
The results for the main event were:
3rd place – 33 points – Mark Jones
2nd place – 34 points – Chris Swales
1st place – 34 points – John Hartley
Thanks to John for organising very enjoyable event and dry weather.
